Role Description The Cosmetologist Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Erode. The intern will assist in developing and testing cosmetic and personal care formulations that incorporate spirulina and other botanical or nutraceutical ingredients. Daily tasks may include supporting product research, preparing samples, performing basic skin and hair assessments under supervision, and documenting results and observations. The intern will collaborate with the product development and marketing teams to align formulations with brand standards and consumer needs. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe lab or workspace, following quality and safety protocols, and engaging in learning activities related to cosmetology, skincare, and wellness.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of cosmetology, skincare, haircare, or beauty therapy, gained through formal education, certification, or equivalent practical training.
- Interest in working with natural, botanical, or nutraceutical ingredients, including familiarity with basic product formulation concepts and cosmetic trends.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures, maintain accurate records, and support quality and safety practices in a lab or studio environment.
- Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from senior cosmetologists, scientists, and product developers.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate respectfully with colleagues, farmers, and partner stakeholders.
- Comfort with on-site work in Erode and readiness to engage in hands-on tasks related to product preparation, testing, and demonstration.
- Basic computer literacy for documentation, research, and internal communication; familiarity with digital platforms for product presentation is an advantage.
- Prior internship or project experience in cosmetology, wellness, or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory; an open, curious mindset is highly valued.
