FinOps Data Analyst & Consultant

As a FinOps Data Analyst & Consultant, you will be responsible for analyzing cloud costs and usage data to help clients optimize their cloud spend. This includes gathering and analyzing data, identifying cost optimization opportunities, and providing recommendations to the client. You will work closely with the client's finance and engineering teams to understand their cloud usage patterns and develop strategies to reduce costs. Key Responsibilities: - Collect and analyze cloud cost and usage data from various sources - Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements - Develop data visualizations and dashboards to provide insights to the client - Collaborate with the client's finance and engineering teams to implement cost optimization strategies - Provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure the client's cloud costs remain optimized Requirements: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Experience working with cloud cost and usage data, ideally in a FinOps or cloud financial management role - Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, and Power BI - Understanding of cloud architecture and cost optimization techniques - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
