In this role, you will serve as the primary technical expert for commercetools implementations, demonstrating profound knowledge of its features, capabilities, and best practices. You will lead the configuration, customization, and integration of commercetools services to meet specific business needs.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of commercetools to design solutions which meet clients’ business requirements
- Design and implement scalable Java-based services to implement integrations into and out of commercetools. Utilize experience with cloud platforms to ensure efficient deployment and management of integration code
- Architect end-to-end solutions considering various factors such as performance, scalability, security, and maintainability. Ensure clean, reliable integration of systems to optimize data integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, DevOps, and client stakeholders to learn about system requirements and design implementation details
- Proactively lead technical discussions and initiatives, both internally and with clients, to drive successful project outcomes. Make decisions and recommendations on technology solutions
- Educate and support colleagues on commercetools implementation best practices and solutioning. Perform code reviews and architectural reviews
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on development experience with Java and Java frameworks such as Spring Boot
- Strong experience with commercetools, including architecture and implementation of live web applications powered by it
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable and robust solutions within cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, Azure, etc
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Strong leadership qualities with the capability to make architectural decisions and mentor junior team members
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in frontend development, specializing in JavaScript or TypeScript, and adept with popular frameworks like React, Angular, Vue, Next.js, Nuxt.js, Remix, among others
- Skilled in working within agency environments, bringing experience in collaborative projects and client-facing development
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code practices, leveraging tools to streamline and automate deployment processes
- Possess a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or possess equivalent education, training, and hands-on experience
Potential Salary Range: $120,000- $150,000.
