Are you a Jira expert with a passion for creating seamless workflows and empowering teams to work smarter? Corporater is looking for a Software Engineer – Jira Superuser / Expert to own and optimize our global Jira environment. Based in our Bangalore office, you will play a critical role in supporting agile delivery and service management across departments, ensuring our teams can collaborate and execute with efficiency. As our global Jira owner, you will be the go-to expert for all Jira-related needs—configuring, maintaining, and evolving the system to meet the needs of our growing, international organization. Key Responsibilities Jira Ownership & Management Serve as the global Jira superuser and system owner. Configure and maintain Jira projects, workflows, custom fields, dashboards, and permission schemes. Administer both Jira Software and Jira Service Management environments. Collaborate with stakeholders to define Jira requirements and implement scalable solutions. Support & Enablement Provide Tier 2/3 support for Jira issues and requests. Train and support internal Jira users and superusers to promote adoption and efficiency. Create and maintain clear documentation for workflows, configurations, and best practices. Continuous Improvement & Governance Continuously assess current usage and recommend system enhancements. Ensure scalability, consistency, and adherence to internal governance standards. Stay updated on Atlassian product developments and best practices. Collaboration & Project Support Work closely with Engineering, Product, IT, and Operations teams to support agile delivery. Enable teams to effectively use Jira for sprint planning, issue tracking, service requests, and documentation. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Jira administration and customization. Proven track record managing Jira in multi-team or enterprise environments. Experience with both Jira Software and Jira Service Management. Familiarity with agile methodologies and ITSM principles is a plus. Skills Deep technical knowledge of Jira configuration, workflows, and administration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and user support skills. Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. Certifications (Preferred) Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator or equivalent certification.
