Role -Corporate Legal Litigation & Tax ( GST) Issues - Financial Services / NBFC
Responsibilities
1. To empanel efficient and effective advocates/firms for defending cases on behalf of Organization and its group companies.
1 A- Handle GST Issues handle notices from GST department
2. Create & implement an analytics framework to enhance ability to mitigate and manage litigations.
3. Take Effective defense in claims against Company, filed by Company & leading the evidence.
4. Clarifying customer queries raised and try to settle the issue out of court by explaining him the consequences of default / legal action taken by him and third party as the case may be.
5. Provide support on any action or issued faced by branch officials with police, regulatory or statutory authorities.
6. Manage litigations and proceedings in a cost efficient manner.
7. Providing support for Non-collection litigation related issues.
8. Build strong relationship with regulatory, statutory, police, enforcement agencies & vendors.
9. File police complaints and take out appropriate proceedings, file reply, rejoinder in court.
10. Build capability at branch level to deal with Non Collection related litigations.
11. Independently handle GST, audits, investigations, and appeals before departmental authorities and appellate tribunals.
12. Ensure adherence to culture with focus on integrity, discipline, teamwork (no silos) & care.
13. Ensure strong corporate governance, regulatory compliance & adherence to management model.
Qualifications
Education LLB/LLM.&CS
Experience – 10-12 years in Similar role
