About the Role
This role offers exposure to high-quality clients across various sectors, with ample learning and leadership opportunities in a collaborative and performance-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage direct tax compliance and advisory work for a diverse client portfolio
- Handle ITR filings, TDS, provision for tax, Advance tax etc.
- Assist in preparing submissions and representation before the income tax authorities in the course of assessment proceedings
- Assist in preparing appeal submissions and representation before the Appellate authorities in the course of appellate proceedings
- Assist in preparation of various applications as part of the post assessment as well as post appeal procedures such as rectification, stay of demand, penalty proceedings, order giving effect to the appellate orders etc.
- Assist in preparation of applications for obtaining registrations and approvals for charitable and/or religious trusts/institutions/societies etc.
- Conduct research on complex tax matters and regulatory changes and draft the same
- Collaborate with seniors and partners to deliver timely and high-quality outputs.
- Liaise with clients for data collection, clarification, and resolving tax queries.
Qualifications
Qualified Chartered Accountant with 0–3 years of relevant experience.
Required Skills
- Strong foundation in Income Tax Act, TDS, corporate taxation, and recent developments on tax
- Exceptional law interpretation skills
- Excellent analytical, communication, and drafting skills.
- High degree of ownership, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn, proactive and self-driven with strong ownership of responsibilities
- Smart and intellectually sharp, Sincere and disciplined, Matured and calm
- Software Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Office, Accounting and tax computation
