Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Corporate Sales Representative role based in Delhi, India. The Corporate Sales Representative will identify and engage corporate clients, including advertisers, sponsors, and partners, to generate revenue for the magazine’s print and digital platforms. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting sales meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating contracts in alignment with company guidelines. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, tracking sales performance, and coordinating with editorial and marketing teams to align offerings with client needs. The Corporate Sales Representative will also contribute to sales planning, participate in events and networking activities, and ensure timely reporting and CRM updates.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in corporate or B2B sales, preferably in media, publishing, advertising, or related industries.
- Strong skills in lead generation, client relationship management, and negotiation, with a focus on closing deals and meeting sales targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, including confident in-person and virtual client interactions.
- Solid understanding of marketing, advertising solutions, and sponsorship packages, with the ability to match client objectives to offerings.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and basic data analysis for sales reporting and forecasting.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Knowledge of the Indian business ecosystem and interest in leadership, startups, and industry trends is highly beneficial.
