Role Overview
We're seeking dynamic Corporate Sales Executives with proven experience in the travel domain to drive B2B growth. In this role, you'll focus on building and nurturing relationships with corporate clients, selling customized travel packages, group bookings, incentive trips, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect potential corporate clients through LinkedIn outreach, networking events, and industry databases.
- Conduct needs assessments to understand client requirements for business travel, team-building trips, and employee incentives.
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers in HR, procurement, and travel management teams.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing) to customize proposals and ensure seamless delivery.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets while tracking performance.
- Stay updated on travel industry trends, visa regulations, and competitive offerings to provide expert advice.
- Represent Ghumo Phiro at corporate events, webinars, and trade shows to expand our network.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in corporate/B2B sales within the travel, tourism, or hospitality sector (e.g., selling corporate travel packages, hotel bookings, or event management services).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Strong network in corporate sectors like IT, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or consulting firms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills – comfortable with virtual pitches and client meetings.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Passion for travel and a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a startup-like agile environment.
Preferred: Experience with international travel sales, knowledge of visa processes, or certifications in sales/hospitality.
