We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to work in our Building Division in Roselle, Illinois. Does the idea of working on large, well-known projects bring out the best in you? Responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager: Assist with the coordination and execution of 20-30 commercial projects of fluctuating size Communicate professionally with superintendents, field supervisors, contractors and vendors to maximize productivity and maintain workflow Follow up with vendors regarding availability, pricing, and delivery of products and supplies Aid the Estimating Department with establishing the scope of labor and evaluating the anticipated cost of materials Manage reporting to support project manager's in completing their projects on time and within the budget Research specialized products and resources to tailor to the specific needs of each client Track lead times for products necessary for time sensitive construction projects Variety of administrative tasks as requested Requirements of the Assistant Project Manager: 1+ years of experience in project management/administration Construction industry experience preferred HIGH attention to detail and accuracy Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
