Job Title: Head – Quality Assurance (Coated Steel & Colour Coating)
Location: Greater Noida (Head Office)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance professional from the steel and coated steel industry with strong expertise in Metal Coating, Colour Coating, Product Quality, Process Improvement, and Customer Quality Management.
The candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end quality assurance activities across Continuous Galvanizing Line (CGL), Colour Coating Line (CCL), and coated steel manufacturing operations while ensuring compliance with national and international quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Quality Assurance activities for Metal Coating and Colour Coating production lines.
Develop and implement Quality Control systems, SOPs, and process standards.
Ensure compliance with BIS, ASTM, JIS, ISO, IMS, TPM, and other quality standards.
Handle customer complaints, root cause analysis, CAPA, and product performance improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with Production, Sales, R&D, and Customers for quality-related matters.
Manage laboratory operations, calibration systems, and testing equipment.
Conduct product testing including:
Salt Spray Test
UV Testing
Humidity Testing
Paint Adhesion Test
Mechanical & Corrosion Testing
Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives through:
TPM
KAIZEN
5S
SPC
7QC Tools
Six Sigma methodologies
Support third-party inspections and supplier quality evaluations.
Train and guide production and quality teams on best practices and process compliance.
Ensure quality consistency, process capability, and customer satisfaction.
Desired Candidate Profile
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
Strong exposure to:
Galvanizing
Galvalume / Zincalume
Colour Coating Process
CRM / CGL / CCL operations
Experience in reputed steel manufacturing organizations preferred.
Strong understanding of quality systems, testing methodologies, and process improvement tools.
Hands-on experience in laboratory setup, quality audits, and product validation.
Good leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
