Corporate Development & Project Management
Location: Bangalore

Job Shift: 9 am to 6 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Project Management: Manage and track timelines for key corporate development
initiatives and strategic alliances. Co-ordinate and align practices with the central Project
Management Office and ensure cross-functional milestones are met.
• Financial & Strategic Modeling: Build and maintain comprehensive financial models (NPV, IRR,
rNPV) to evaluate potential M&A, in-licensing, and strategic partnership opportunities.
• Deal Evaluation & Diligence: Support the end-to-end evaluation of new product and portfolio
opportunities. Conduct rigorous primary and secondary research to assess commercial viability,
competitive landscapes, and market access for CAR-T and other advanced therapies.
• Decision Analysis Support: Assist in quantifying strategic uncertainties and mapping out
decision trees to align cross-functional leaders around optimal investment and partnership
pathways.
• Executive Communication: Design and draft high-impact strategic presentations, board decks,
and business cases tailored for senior management and external stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Innovation, Process Development,
Regulatory, Legal, and Finance teams to integrate technical due diligence into cohesive business
cases and track subsequent R&D activities.
Primary Objectives:
• Deliver robust, data-driven financial and strategic evaluations for incoming corporate
development opportunities.
• Ensure timely execution of strategic initiatives through rigorous project tracking and
daily/weekly interface with relevant R&D and operational functions.
• Facilitate seamless cross-functional alignment during the due diligence, deal structuring, and
integration phases.
Competencies Required:
• Technical Competencies:
• Financial Acumen: Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial forecasting, valuation
modeling, and risk assessment.
• Project Management: Strong capability in establishing timelines, tracking deliverables,
and managing cross-functional consensus.
• Strategic Analysis: Ability to break down complex, ambiguous markets into actionable
insights and structured frameworks.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
landscape; exposure to oncology or cell and gene therapy is a significant advantage.
• Soft Skills:
• Cross-functional leadership and ability to drive consensus.
• Clear communication and exceptional clarity of thought.
• Proactive, problem-solving, and responsible approach in a fast-paced startup
environment.
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of relevant experience spanning Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy,
Business Development, and/or Project Management (preferably within the Healthcare/Life
Sciences sector).
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Biotechnology (BPharm, MPharm, MSc, BTech)
paired with an MBA or a strong specialized financial background is highly preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a strong plus
Working Conditions:
• Role Type: Full Time and Onsite.
• Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM for the General Shift.
• Travel Requirements: Yes – as per business/project requirement.
