Role Purpose The Corporate Manager – New Resort Openings & Initiatives will lead the commercial activation of new resorts and drive initiatives across Sales, Revenue Management, Distribution, and allied commercial functions. The role ensures every new resort opens commercially ready — with non-member business on the books, robust systems in place, and a clearly defined go-to-market strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end commercial readiness for all new resort openings.
- Drive pre-opening sales activity to secure non-member/FIT/MICE/wedding business.
- Lead market entry strategy including segmentation, comp set definition, pricing logic, and channel mix.
- Manage the New Resort Opening Checklist across sales, revenue, and distribution.
- Conduct structured readiness reviews at milestones (12, 8, 4 weeks, go-live).
- Standardise SOPs, reporting formats, and governance for new resorts.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives for new segments, products, and pricing frameworks.
- Set up KPIs, dashboards, and review mechanisms for newly opened resorts.
- Support post-opening stabilisation until resorts transition to BAU ownership.
Key Deliverables
- Resorts open with confirmed non-member business and active pipeline.
- All commercial systems live, tested, and adopted.
- Distribution fully mapped with strong content and parity compliance.
- Clear 90-day post-opening commercial plan and performance tracking.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong commercial acumen across Sales, Revenue Management, and Distribution.
- Proven project management and checklist-driven execution capability.
- Experience in system implementations and cross-functional coordination.
- Data-driven, detail-oriented, with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and deliver outcomes under tight timelines.
Experience & Background
- 7–10 years of experience in hospitality commercial functions.
- Prior exposure to new hotel/resort openings strongly preferred.
- Experience working at corporate/cluster level with multiple stakeholders.
Success Measures (12–18 Months)
- On-time, zero-gap commercial launch of new resorts.
- Healthy non-member/FIT contribution from Day 1.
- Scalable frameworks for openings and new initiatives adopted across the portfolio.
