Hiring: Corporate Legal Executive (Immediate Joiner)

📢 Reporting To: Corporate Legal Counsel / Senior Corporate Legal Counsel
Experience: 1-3 years
We are seeking a Corporate Legal Executive to join our Legal team in Chennai. This role is ideal for an entry to intermediate level, legal professional with hands-on experience in corporate law, commercial contracts, compliance, and legal support for business operations within an IT services or corporate environment.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
Corporate Governance & Compliance
- Support senior legal leadership in corporate governance and regulatory compliance matters.
- Draft, review, and maintain corporate documents, policies, resolutions, and statutory records.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable corporate and regulatory laws.
- Track legal and regulatory updates and flag potential business impact.
Commercial & Contract Management
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including:
- Client and vendor agreements
- Service agreements, NDAs, and licensing contracts
- Strategic partnership and alliance agreements
- Support contract lifecycle management, including interpretation and enforcement.
Risk Management & Legal Support
- Identify legal and contractual risks in day-to-day business operations.
- Provide legal inputs on business initiatives, projects, and operational decisions.
- Assist internal teams with legal clarifications and best practices.
Litigation & Dispute Support
- Handle legal notices, claims, and documentation related to disputes and litigation.
- Coordinate with external counsels and support case management activities.
- Assist in reviewing regulatory notices and preparing responses.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Compliance, Finance, HR, Sales, and Operations teams.
- Act as a legal point of contact for internal stakeholders on routine matters.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB); LLM is an added advantage.
- Enrolled with the Bar Council / eligible to practice law.
- Experience in IT services companies, corporate environments, MNCs, or law firms preferred.
- Working knowledge of corporate law, contracts, compliance, and dispute management.
