We are seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer to manage the company’s legal, compliance, and corporate governance functions. The role requires expertise in corporate law, contracts, regulatory compliance, and risk management. The candidate will work closely with leadership on business decisions, legal strategies, and expansion initiatives. Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including vendor contracts, service agreements, NDAs, licensing, and partnership agreements
• Ensure compliance with corporate laws, labour laws, and regulatory requirements applicable to the business
• Manage corporate governance activities including ROC filings, board resolutions, statutory records, and legal documentation
• Coordinate with external legal counsel and manage legal notices, disputes, and litigation matters
• Identify legal and compliance risks and provide strategic legal guidance to management
• Oversee company-wide compliance initiatives and regulatory adherence processes
• Handle trademark registrations, renewals, and brand-related legal matters
• Support business expansion initiatives, strategic partnerships, and new business ventures
• Develop and implement legal processes, policies, contracts, and SOPs to strengthen governance and compliance frameworks
• Collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support business objectives
Qualifications
• LLB / LLM from a recognized institution
• 3-10 years of experience in corporate legal, compliance, and contract management
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, contracts, labour laws, and regulatory compliance
• Experience in litigation handling and coordination with external legal counsel
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
