About the Role: As a Corporate Functions Senior Accountant at Navsan.you will play a crucial role in maintaining The integrity of our financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This position will serve an integral role on the team supporting the monthly and year end financial close processes, maintaining accuracy of intercompany and debt-related accounting, and ensuring timely completion of financial reporting activities. The position requires strong ownership of accounting workstreams, collaboration with global stakeholders, and proactive support of audit and financial governance processes.
About the team: The position is part of the Global Consolidation team within the Global Finance department and reports to the Corporate Functions Controller. Global Consolidation team members work closely with business units and legal entities within the wider Group. This provides the opportunity to be part of a broader Finance team (providing professional development, career progression) while also being part of the core operations of the business.

About you
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on full cycle accounting close.
- Strong understanding of US/UK GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively conveying financial information to stakeholders. Intellectual curiosity with eagerness to improve business performance.
- Proven track record of effectively managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to work, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and be a proactive self-starter
Responsibilities
- Monthly Close & Accounting Activities -
- Prepare and post monthly closing journal entries related to cash activity and general ledger accounts.
- Review invoicing processes and perform AP/AR confirmations to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Review and maintain bank reconciliations and goodwill schedules.
- Record debt-related accounting entries and perform Effective Interest Rate (EIR) calculations.
- Maintain and update Intercompany Matrix workbook including refreshing reports and updating foreign exchange entries.
- Maintain case activity tracking by coordinating with partners and updating file activity workbooks.
- Prepare and maintain management reporting workbooks.
- Ad-hoc reporting.
Year-End & Audit Support
- Provide audit support through preparation and maintenance of financial statement workpapers in Excel and Word.
- Address auditor comments and requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinate intercompany yearend balance confirmations, including review, signoff, and responses to global auditors.
General Accounting Responsibilities
- Review AR/AP offset proposals received from partners and confirm appropriate accounting treatment.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and maintain accurate documentation supporting accounting positions.
