Role Description The Corporate Communications Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. This position is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the organization’s communication strategy across internal and external channels. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and editing press releases, creating corporate communication materials, preparing content for social media outreach particularly LinkedIn, and coordinating public relations activities. The role also involves maintaining consistent messaging across social platforms, presentations, and stakeholder communications, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals. The associate will monitor media coverage, track communication performance, and contribute to storytelling that highlights Aatm Nirbhar’s impact.
Responsibilities
- Spot compelling human impact stories from across our projects and shape them into narratives that land.
- Source stories directly from the field — Program Managers, Fleet Managers, City Ops Coordinators, partners.
- Repurpose each story across LinkedIn, newsletters, website, etc.
- Track sector news, research, and policy on women's mobility, gig work, and livelihoods, and bring relevant context into our content.
- Turn timely sector trends into relevant content.
- Run the content calendar; brief designers, videographers, and freelancers.
- Write and publish content across LinkedIn and the website
- Write blog posts and keep website content current.
- Maintain and grow relationships with journalists and editors.
- Draft press releases and media articles; maintain the press kit.
- Track coverage and flag reputational risks early.
- Draft quarterly/annual reports, and funder/donor updates.
- Support award and grant applications with research, drafting, and formatting.
- Support internal communication across a distributed, multi-city team.
