Role Description The Corporate Chef at ASF BBQ & GRILL is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. This role oversees all culinary operations, including menu development, recipe standardization, and quality control for barbecue and grilled offerings. The Corporate Chef leads kitchen teams, sets food preparation and plating standards, and ensures consistency across service periods. Daily responsibilities include supervising food production, monitoring inventory and sourcing ingredients, managing food safety and hygiene compliance, and controlling food costs. The role also involves training and mentoring kitchen staff, collaborating with management on seasonal specials and events, and supporting an excellent guest experience through high culinary standards.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in barbecue and grill techniques, including smoking, slow cooking, and open-flame grilling.
- Experience in menu development, recipe creation, and standardization for multi-item restaurant menus.
- Proficiency in kitchen operations management, including staff supervision, scheduling, and workflow optimization.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and regulatory compliance in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Skills in inventory management, vendor coordination, and cost control for food and supplies.
- Ability to train, mentor, and motivate diverse kitchen teams in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant culinary education or certification; prior experience as Head Chef, Executive Chef, or Corporate Chef preferred.
- Comfort working on-site with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
