We are seeking a highly capable, sharp, analytical and business-savvy Corporate Business Analyst to serve as a strategic bridge between the Organization’s Top Leadership team and Business group leaders with data, finance and strategy.
The role acts as the President's "eyes and ears" across the organization — translating high-level strategic priorities into actionable insights for business groups, while aggregating group-level performance, challenges, risks and opportunities for the President. This position ensures alignment, accelerates decision-making and drives cross-group synergy to support HORIBA India’s ambitious goals as 1000 Cr with 10/10 by 2026 and long-term vision toward 2053.
This role involves analyzing financial performance, market trends, operational efficiency and business opportunities across functions to drive data-backed insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between the President and Business Group Heads / Leadership Teams — facilitating clear communication of strategic direction, priorities and expectations.
- Attend key business group review meetings, capture critical insights, action items, and bottlenecks and prepare concise summaries / dashboards for the President.
- Monitor and consolidate performance metrics (revenue, profitability, market share, localization progress, service KPIs, etc.) across all business groups; highlight variances, trends and red flags.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on group-specific challenges (e.g., sales pipeline gaps, supply chain issues, competitive threats, project challenges) and recommend solutions aligned with corporate objectives.
- Prepare briefing packs, one-pagers and presentations for the President ahead of leadership reviews, global calls (mostly Japan) or strategic discussions.
- Track execution of President’s directives and cross-group initiatives; follow up with business group leaders and report progress/status.
- Identify synergy opportunities between business groups (e.g., shared customers, technology transfer, resource optimization) and propose collaborative actions.
- Support ad-hoc strategic projects initiated by the President (e.g., market entry studies, cost optimization drives, risk assessments).
- Maintain a centralized repository of key group-level data, risks and decisions for quick reference and continuity.
- Ensure timely, accurate and confidential flow of information between the President’s office and business leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA (preferred) or equivalent from a top-tier institute or Bachelor's/Master's in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering with strong analytical background.
- 5–10 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business analysis or executive support roles.
- Prior experience working closely with C-level executives or Top leadership is highly preferred.
- Exposure to manufacturing, engineering, diagnostics, Scientific, semiconductors or industrial sectors is a strong advantage.

- Comfortable interacting with senior leaders and presenting to the President.
- High emotional intelligence, discretion and confidentiality (handles sensitive information daily).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and data visualization tools (Power BI / Tableau).
- Strong project management and follow-through capabilities; proactive problem-solver.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with tight deadlines.
- Strategic mindset with commercial acumen and understanding of P&L dynamics.
