Position: Attorney
Type: Hourly contract
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel on contracts, compliance, and regulatory matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents to protect organizational interests.
- Conduct legal research and stay current with relevant laws and regulations.
- Identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.
- Advise stakeholders on dispute resolution and litigation matters.
- Collaborate with external counsel and internal teams to support legal processes.
- Develop and implement internal policies aligned with legal requirements.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree with active bar membership in good standing.
- Strong experience in corporate, commercial, or regulatory law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for complex legal matters.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High ethical standards with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
