Software Engineer II

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer II to join our growing team at Cornerstone OnDemand. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that power our innovative talent management platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative features and enhancements that drive customer success. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain complex software components and systems - Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture, coding, testing, and deployment - Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices and coding standards - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner - Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering practices and processes Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field - 3-5 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in Java and/or other object-oriented programming languages - Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and data modeling - Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively in a team environment - Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
