Junior Engineer (Internship – 1 Year)

Cornerstone OnDemand is looking for a Junior Engineer to join their Pune-based team. This one-year, office-based role is ideal for fresh graduates or recent postgraduates who want to build a strong foundation in full-stack development. Interns will work directly on real tools and systems that help teams make data-driven decisions, gaining practical experience in a collaborative and innovation-driven environment. Job Details: Company: Cornerstone OnDemand Job Position: Junior Engineer (Internship – 1 Year) Location: Pune, India (Office-based) Qualification: Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, IT, or related fields Salary: Stipend provided (estimated ₹20,000–₹35,000/month based on industry standards) Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with developers to design and maintain web applications using Angular, Java, Spring, and Oracle - Participate in code reviews and debugging to ensure quality and reliability - Contribute to both front-end and back-end development - Maintain detailed documentation for new and existing features - Research and suggest improvements via new tools and technologies - Support in identifying and fixing bugs or performance issues - Attend regular team meetings and contribute to planning - Work with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud (if applicable) - Apply basic knowledge of AI/ML concepts where relevant - Assist in UI/UX enhancement activities - Engage in Agile development cycles - Use Git for version control - Learn and apply software engineering best practices - Adapt to the team's tools, workflows, and coding standards - Actively participate in the team's continuous learning culture Required Skills and Knowledge: - Proficiency in Java, Spring, Angular, and Oracle - Understanding of web development fundamentals - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP – optional) - Knowledge of AI/ML and Data Science concepts is a plus - Good analytical and problem-solving skills - Team player with strong communication abilities - Exposure to Git and Agile methodologies - Passion for learning and self-improvement
