Cloud Software Engineer

Cloud Software Engineer Location: Remote (US) About the Role: As a Cloud Software Engineer on our Platform team, you will build and maintain the infrastructure that powers our SaaS applications. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to design, build, and operate highly scalable and reliable cloud-based systems. You will leverage modern cloud computing principles and practices to continuously improve the performance, availability, and security of our platform. We are looking for someone who is passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, and reliability. You should have strong technical skills and a desire to learn and grow. Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure - Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes - Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, identify and resolve issues proactively - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improvements - Continuously optimize the platform for performance, cost, and security - Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure the reliability of our systems Requirements: - 3+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer or DevOps Engineer - Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Rust) - Experience with cloud infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) - Familiarity with containers and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) - Strong understanding of networking, security, and monitoring concepts - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Experience in the HR/HCM software industry is a plus
