MACHINES AND EQUIPMENTAll automatic handling equipment, glazers, lehrs and crackoff, tempering lines, pick & place, loaders, conveyors, Biebuyck and R80, push and pull bars and similar or equivalent machines and equipment. GAUGES AND TOOLSVarious measurement devises, small hand tools, power tools, polariscope, pyrometers and similar or equivalent tools. Must have own personal hand tools as designated by supervisor.PRODUCTS OR MATERIALSHeat resistant gloves and mittens, belting, emery cloth, grease, various oils, water soluble oil, rags, cleaning solvent, gloves and similar or equivalent products or materials.WORK GUIDES AND INSTRUCTIONSGeneral verbal instructions, factory slate, job set-up cards and average blueprints.QUALITY REQUIREMENTSTo set up, adjust, repair and rebuild all automatic handling equipment and maintain glazers, lehrs and equipment in good operating condition to properly finish ware in accordance with specificationsestablished by management.WORK DESCRIPTION-Review, repair, maintain, adjust, replace, etc., all automatic handling machines and equipment to manufacture product to the quality specifications at the optimum level of efficiency.-Perform all Automatic Handling job change duties including preparation, set up and workout of equipment.-Record and maintain all setups and records required.-Regularly oil and grease equipment. Check oil level in gear boxes and fill as necessary.-Maintain quality housekeeping and good safety practices in the work area.-Communicate all changes and problems as they occur to the Production Supervisor(s) or designate.-Do other work as assigned by supervision.
