Bilingual Front-End Developer - Astro Framework

We are seeking a Bilingual Front-End Developer with a passion for building fast, user-friendly websites using modern tools. • Develop and maintain the front-end of our website using the Astro framework along with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript. • Integrate the website with a headless CMS, pulling in content via APIs (REST/GraphQL) and rendering it in Astro. • Continuously optimize the site for maximum speed and scalability. • Implement modern SEO optimizations in the front-end – including semantic HTML, proper meta tags, structured data, and ensuring fast load times. • Set up and maintain continuous integration and deployment workflows using GitHub Actions. • Deploy and manage the website on Vercel. • Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate design mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive web pages. • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design across various devices and screen sizes. • Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and Astro updates. Requirements • Hands-on experience building websites with Astro (preferred) or similar frameworks like Next.js, Gatsby, or other static site generators. • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. • Deep understanding of modern web performance best practices. • Experience working with headless CMS platforms (e.g. Contentful, Sanity, Prismic, etc.). • Knowledge of deploying front-end applications on Vercel or similar platforms (Netlify, AWS Amplify, etc.). • Proficient with Git and GitHub workflows. • Good understanding of SEO best practices and basic accessibility standards. • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills for front-end issues. • Bonus points if you have experience with Tailwind CSS or other CSS frameworks, Node.js for build scripts, or writing tests for front-end code.
