About the role

Core Cognitics is looking for an entry-level DevOps / Cloud Engineer to support its engineering team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment pipelines. You'll work alongside developers and product teams to ensure scalable, reliable. Responsibilities: - Assist in setting up, managing, and monitoring cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP - Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI - Automate provisioning and deployments with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) - Monitor system health and application performance using Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch - Collaborate with developers to improve build, deployment, and release workflows - Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues under supervision - Maintain documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes - Ensure compliance with security and best practices Requirements: - 0–1 year of hands-on experience or internships in DevOps, cloud, or infrastructure - Basic knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) - Familiarity with Linux and shell scripting - Understanding of version control with Git - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines through academic or side projects - Basic understanding of networking, Docker, and virtualization - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field Nice to Have: - Exposure to container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker Compose) - Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi) - Experience with monitoring/logging tools (ELK Stack, Datadog) - Basic understanding of cloud security practices - Interest in scripting/automation using Python or Go
