Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Copywriter role based in Chennai. The Copywriter will craft clear, compelling copy for advertising campaigns, digital assets, social media, websites, and other marketing materials aligned with The Pixelate’s bold and clever communication style. Daily responsibilities include generating creative concepts, writing and revising copy, proofreading for accuracy and consistency, and collaborating with designers and account managers to develop integrated campaigns. The role also involves writing press releases, adapting messaging for different platforms and audiences, and ensuring all content supports clients’ marketing goals and brand voice.
Qualifications
- 1 year (minimum) experience in relevant field.
- Strong writing skills, including experience creating persuasive and engaging copy for ads, digital content, and brand communications.
- Ability to draft and refine press releases, media statements, and other public-facing content.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail with proven proofreading and editing capabilities to ensure error-free, polished content.
- Understanding of marketing principles and audience-centric messaging, ideally within advertising or digital agencies.
- Creativity and conceptual thinking, with a portfolio demonstrating bold, clever, and emotion-driven work.
- Relevant academic background in Communications, Advertising, English, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
