We are looking for a Copy Editor with experience in K-12 curriculum to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency across educational content for Grades 3–12.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials
- Ensure grammar, style, and consistency
- Align content with curriculum standards
- Check subject accuracy (ELA, Math, Science, Social Science)
- Collaborate with SMEs and instructional designers
- Provide feedback to improve content quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Journalism, or related field
- Experience in copy editing (education preferred)
- Strong grammar and editorial skills
- Familiarity with the US K-12 curriculum
- Comfortable with digital/AI tools
Preferred
- Master’s degree
- Multi-subject editing experience
- Experience with EdTech platforms
Work Details
- Contract role
- 7 hours/day | 35 hours/week
- Remote
