Position: Copy Writer – Social Media
Experience: 2–4 Years
Location: Gurugram
Salary: Up to ₹9 LPA
Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and strategic Copy Writer with prior experience in the Life Insurance sector. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in crafting engaging social media content and campaign communication tailored for insurance audiences.
This role is focused on social and digital communication and does not require SEO writing experience. The candidate should be able to create compelling, consumer-friendly copy while understanding the nuances of financial and insurance communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop engaging copy for social media campaigns across platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and YouTube
- Write social media captions, campaign copies, digital ads, scripts, brand communication, and content calendars
- Create content that simplifies insurance-related concepts into relatable and consumer-friendly communication
- Collaborate with creative, strategy, and client servicing teams for campaign ideation and execution
- Ensure all communication aligns with brand tonality, compliance guidelines, and campaign objectives
- Brainstorm innovative campaign ideas and real-time content opportunities
- Adapt writing styles based on platform, audience, and campaign requirements
- Review and refine content to maintain quality, consistency, and engagement
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in copywriting/social media content creation
- Prior experience working with Life Insurance brands is mandatory
- Strong understanding of social media trends, formats, and digital communication
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Ability to create concise, impactful, and engaging content
- Experience working in an advertising agency or digital agency environment preferred
- Strong coordination and time management skills
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of BFSI/Insurance communication guidelines
- Experience in campaign ideation and social-first storytelling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
