We are looking for a talented Content Writer specializing in short-form content, particularly for social media, to join our creative team.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a content writer at an alt.space design studio in Kolkata.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write engaging and impactful copy for social media, websites, campaigns, ads, emails, and marketing collaterals
- Create content calendars and assist with content strategy
- Develop creative ideas for posts, stories, reels, and other short-form content formats.
- Develop brand-aligned captions, scripts, blogs, and promotional content
- Brainstorm creative campaign ideas and content concepts
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and the creative team to execute campaigns
- Ensure all content maintains consistency in tone, style, and messaging
- Stay updated with social media trends, pop culture, and digital content formats
- Proofread and edit content before publishing
- Analyze content performance on social media and blogs, adjusting strategies to maximize reach, engagement, and SEO effectiveness.
- Write compelling and informative blog posts that align with our brand voice and cater to our target audience.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in copywriting/content writing/social media content
- Creative mindset with a knack for storytelling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of Instagram, digital marketing, and content trends
- Ability to adapt writing styles for different brands and audiences
- Creative thinking with attention to detail
- Basic understanding of branding and marketing strategy
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Bonus Skill:
- Experience in lifestyle, fashion, hospitality, or kids/education brands
- Short-form video content shooting
- SEO knowledge is a plus
