About the role

Do you want to join a global leader in renewable energy infrastructure investment? Then Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is the perfect place for you. We are currently looking for a Student Analyst (internally called Analyst) to join the CI Capital team within CIP in Copenhagen.

The Team
The CI Capital team’s key responsibility is management of CIP’s four Senior Partner’s ownership of CIP. Further, CI Capital is consolidating the increasing investments by the Senior Partners in funds managed by CIP and other investments as well as ensuring a continuous professionalization of other family office activities. The team currently consists of 10-12 highly experienced and motivated people.

The Finance and accounting team, within CI Capital, is responsible for bookkeeping related to the entities owned by CIP’s Senior Partners, as well as payments, capital calls, reconciliations, consolidations and various year-end tasks.

The Role
As a Student Analyst in CI Capital, you will contribute to deliver high quality, detailed and structured input for the financial reports.

Responsibilities will further consist of:

  • Bookkeeping, payments and accounting activities
  • Reconciliations (bank and other balances)
  • Assisting with controlling activities
  • Assisting with year-end tasks
  • Assisting with reconciliation and review of annual reports and financial statements
  • Assisting with preparation and updating standard operating procedures, memos, PowerPoint presentations etc.
  • Archiving – mailbox
  • Various administrative and ad hoc tasks

You
We are looking for a 2nd or 3rd year bachelor’s students studying Finance, Business or Economics. We are looking for the following in a candidate:

  • A structured approach to problem solving
  • Good work-ethics with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Delivers high quality output with with a willingness to take initiative
  • Team player and willingness to learn
  • Experience in Excel and PowerPoint

Please note that we do not offer a remote working opportunity, thus you must be a Danish resident, or an upcoming student enrolled in a Danish university to be eligible for this role. Students on exchange in Denmark are not considered eligible for this position.
