About the Role

We're entering a new era at Ecom Experts—one powered by AI enablement and the belief that the right person with the right tools can achieve extraordinary impact. This role reports to our Senior Director of Growth and Ecommerce and is perfect for someone who thrives on autonomy, innovation, and driving measurable results through digital excellence.

We're looking for a passionate, high-agency individual who can independently own our digital product roadmap and conversion optimization strategy. Using cutting-edge AI tools like Claude Code, you'll build, test, and optimize experiences that would traditionally require an entire team. While you'll have design and development support, this role demands someone who can strategize, execute, and analyze with remarkable independence. This isn't a role for everyone—we're looking for one very specific person who's excited to redefine how digital commerce work gets done at a premier agency level.

What You'll Do

• Strategy & Roadmap: Manage and execute the complete website digital product roadmap and user experience strategy for our portfolio.
• Growth Collaboration: Partner closely with the Growth team to build, test, and analyze high-converting landing pages.
• AI-Driven CRO: Execute an always-on conversion rate optimization program using AI tools and data-driven insights.
• Performance Analytics: Analyze and optimize site performance using GA4, heatmaps (Hotjar/Lucky Orange), and other analytics tools.
• Continuous Iteration: Support the continuous testing of new copy, imagery, layouts, and engagement mechanisms.
• Cross-Functional Impact: Collaborate with Growth, Retention, and Creative teams to drive new customer acquisition outcomes.
• Experimentation: Execute A/B testing strategies and experimentation programs, preferably with IntelliGems and Shopify.
• Knowledge Transfer: Manage the feedback loop from testing to analysis to team-wide learnings and recommendations.

What You'll Bring

• Experience: 3-5 years in ecommerce, conversion optimization, or digital marketing.
• AI Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Claude Code or similar AI coding tools (this is a core requirement).
• Platform Expertise: Proven experience with A/B testing and experimentation, specifically within the Shopify ecosystem (IntelliGems experience is a major plus).
• Mindset: A "High Agency" mindset with an extreme passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of industry trends.
• Background: Startup or high-growth agency experience is highly preferred.
• Technical Literacy: Basic coding understanding and experience with design tools like Figma are strong advantages.
• Data Fluency: Strong Google Analytics (GA4) experience.

What Success Looks Like

• Build and execute a comprehensive testing roadmap using AI-powered customer insights and data analysis.
• Deliver measurable improvements in conversion rate (CR), average order value (AOV), and overall user experience.
• Maintain an always-on, world-class conversion optimization program with minimal support.
• Establish yourself as the go-to expert at Ecom Experts for digital product optimization and AI-enabled commerce strategies.

This position is a full-time remote opportunity with hours from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm EST.
