WhyDonate is one of Europe's fastest-growing fundraising platforms, helping individuals, organisations, and charities raise money for the causes that matter most. We've achieved 50% year-over-year growth in both 2024 and 2025 — and we're aiming to do it again in 2026.
We're a passionate, fully remote team of 40 people spread across marketing, development, design, and customer success. We move fast, think big, and care deeply about making fundraising accessible to everyone.
The Role
We're looking for a data-driven CRO Specialist to help us turn more visitors into fundraisers and more visitors into donors. You'll own the entire conversion optimisation strategy across our platform — from landing pages and sign-up flows to donation pages and fundraiser creation journeys.
This is a high-impact role. We attract significant organic traffic, and even small improvements in conversion have an outsized effect on our growth. You won't just run A/B tests — you'll shape how hundreds of thousands of people experience WhyDonate every month.
What You'll Do
- Analyse user behaviour across the full funnel to identify the biggest conversion opportunities
- Develop and execute a structured experimentation roadmap (A/B tests, multivariate tests, user research)
- Optimise key flows: fundraiser creation, donation pages, sign-up and onboarding, landing pages
- Work closely with front-end developers and designers to implement and iterate on experiments
- Set up and maintain tracking, dashboards, and reporting to measure impact
- Collaborate with SEO, paid ads, and email marketing to ensure landing pages and campaigns convert
- Present insights and results to the team, building a culture of data-informed decision-making
- Champion the voice of the user — using heatmaps, session recordings, surveys, and usability testing to understand why people do (or don't) convert
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on CRO experience, ideally in a SaaS, marketplace, or platform environment
- Strong analytical skills — you're comfortable in Google Analytics (GA4), and tools like Hotjar, VWO, Optimizely, or similar
- Experience designing and running A/B and multivariate tests with statistical rigor
- A solid understanding of UX principles, landing page best practices, and persuasion psychology
- Ability to translate data into clear hypotheses and actionable recommendations
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS basics — enough to QA experiments and speak the same language as developers
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional European languages are a plus)
- Self-motivated and structured — you thrive in a remote environment and can manage your own priorities

- Experience with fundraising, donations, or non-profit platforms
- Familiarity with JIRA and agile workflows
- Experience setting up or improving analytics and tracking infrastructure
- Knowledge of SEO and how CRO and organic acquisition intersect
