Purpose Of The Position:
This role is coordinator of car business for Material Controlling
This position ensures
- Coordination and follow up of Material Cost of car business > 1500 Mio € (85% of all Costs) for all Brands all locations in India.
- Calculation of target material costs and agreement with all stake holders for > 500 parts for all new projects and new cars for all projects of all brands in India.
- Monthly Reports to internal and external customers
Key Responsibilities &Tasks:
Steering & consolidation of premises, timeline for accurate and timely calculation for all Material Forecast for car business for all Brands.
Steering & consolidation of accurate and timely material costs calculations and reports al part level for car businesses within the responsible framework for Planning Round, Budget and
Forecast for all brands.
Initiate, coordinate and agree the evaluation premises with Internal and external departments
As well as apply the agreed methodology to ensure realistic material cost assumptions along car businesses for all brands.
Final Check of a transparent summary report of material costs for all planning levels all brands .
Coordination/Consolidation of an accurate and timely material costs calculation for all
Businesses for Forecast. Bill of Material processing through Profits MCM.
Ensure on a monthly bases valuation of produced/sold cars in PROFIS-MCMISAP within the Timelines
Prepare and provide monthly cost deviation analyses against Budget and Forecast at A-Price-Level for material cost because of Volume-and Mix, Exchange Rate and price/cost for all Businesses (car business based on MCM)
Preparation and analyses of material cost comparisons between parts, models and lines
Preparation and analyses of material cost developments for defined models (4 to 5 times a year)
Comparison/benchmarking between group companies to synergize and optimize material and related costs
Support Project Controlling/FCE/Purchase/CFT with material cost estimations for future projects.
- Purchase/ FMK Controlling
Monitoring of FMK topics EKL, PKO, raw material risks, technical changes for responsible FG/commodity
Providing financial support for payback calculations and various cost reductions and saving projects with a focus on improving contribution margin (ISC/FMK-India/CFT)
Briefing HoS within the responsible framework for FMK India Meeting and Indian Steering Committee (ISC) .
- Material Target Setting & Monitoring
Setting material cost target by evaluating technically and commercially for each part for new projects and features.
Agreement with purchase-technical office and all other stakeholders for target material cost.
Monitoring of actual material cost with reference to target material cost and finding out reasons of deviations.
- Representing Material Controlling
Attending on meetings in the framework of the task, further contribute as a representative of Material Controlling in Kostenklausuren, Cross Functional Teams (CFT) and FMK Meeting including of representing und justification of Controlling statements.
Key Responsibilities &Tasks:
Ensure process improvements for smooth of activities.
Assist in material physical counts and responsible for finalization of material consumption on a monthly and yearly basis for audits .
Define and represent the particular business requirements due to developing and maintaining of computer-assisted system and their application
Participation in the preparation of internal workflows, deadlines and approaches as well as monitoring of compliance other ad-hoc jobs as required by HoS/HoD
