Role Description
This is a contract-based, remote Controller role. The Controller will oversee financial planning and analysis, manage accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and develop budgets and forecasts. Additional responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing cash flow, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting strategic decision-making with financial insights. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive accounting knowledge including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making
- Strong understanding of tax compliance, regulations, and risk management
- Experience with financial systems, ERP software, and advanced spreadsheet tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent qualification is a plus
- Prior experience in a remote work environment is beneficial
