Position Overview
Reporting To National Head – Business & Operations
Location Manjeri | WFO: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM | WFH: Post 2:00 PM
Verticals Quick Commerce (Dark Stores) | Last Mile E-Commerce
Role Summary
The Control Tower Representative is the real-time eyes and ears of DropX operations — tracking key metrics across both
verticals, publishing data at frequent defined intervals, and calling out anomalies as they occur. The role does not involve
driving or ensuring outcomes; that sits with the ops teams. What it demands is relentless vigilance, data discipline, and the
ability to spot and flag deviations the moment they surface.
Key Responsibilities
Vertical 1 – Quick Commerce (Dark Stores)
▸ Track and publish scheduled vs. on-time staff at each dark store location
▸ Monitor and report inventory audit completion, expired items removal, and inbound stowing vs. cutoff windows
▸ Publish shift-wise and daily reports at defined intervals; call out anomalies immediately
Vertical 2 – Last Mile E-Commerce (Amazon & Flipkart)
▸ Track and publish inbound load time adherence, scheduled vs. on-time staff, and OTR exit timings across all hubs
▸ Publish hourly metric reports; observe data in real time and flag any deviations
Reporting & Data Publishing
▸ Publish all reports at defined frequency — no delays, no gaps
▸ Maintain clean Excel-based trackers and dashboards for both verticals
▸ Flag anomalies with timestamps and context — observation, not diagnosis
▸ Publish daily summary to the National Head – Business & Operations
What This Role Is Not
Not responsible for fixing issues, following up with field staff, or making operational decisions. This role observes, records,
publishes, and flags — nothing more, nothing less.
Skills & Candidate Profile
Must-Have Ideal Candidate
▸ Advanced Excel — VLOOKUP, Pivots, Conditional Formatting, Macros
▸ Disciplined, high-frequency report publishing without reminders
▸ Sharp eye for anomalies and data deviations
▸ Clear written communication for flagging
▸ Self-driven through a split WFO/WFH schedule
Ideal Candidate
▸ Obsessive about report timelines — 9 AM means 9 AM
▸ Spots what doesn't look right in a sea of numbers
▸ Treats Excel as a native language
▸ Calls out anomalies early, unprompted
▸ Workaholic who respects shift-based ops rhythm
