Controls Engineer (PLC)
Experience: 2 – 8 Years
Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech (Mechatronics Preferred)
Industry: Machine Tools / Automation
Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement PLC and CNC programs for industrial machinery.
• Develop and optimize NC programs for laser and bending machines.
• Perform testing, debugging, and simulation of PLC/NC programs to ensure smooth machine operations.
• Modify and improve existing PLC programs to enhance machine performance, productivity, and efficiency.
• Understand and analyze control specifications, product requirements, and communication architecture.
• Interpret electrical drawings and perform troubleshooting for machine control systems.
• Understand and work with pneumatic and hydraulic circuits used in machinery.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for machine integration, programming, and process improvements.
• Support machine commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical issue resolution.
Mandatory Skills
• Hands-on experience in PLC Programming and CNC programming.
• Experience in machine tool industry or industrial automation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical drive systems.
• Experience in CodeSys V3.5 programming is preferred.
