Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Contracts Manager specializing in Interior Fit-Out. As the Contracts Manager, you will oversee the preparation, negotiation, and management of contracts related to projects. Responsibilities will include tendering, vendor evaluation, cost estimation, contract compliance, and coordination of purchase orders. You will track project progress, provide risk analysis, and ensure adherence to legal and company standards while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
- Monitor contract performance and address any issues, or delays
- Manage the complete contract lifecycle—from pre-contract evaluation to project close-out
- Track labour deployment, payments, variations, and claims in accordance with contract terms
- Strong negotiating skills in finalizing commercial terms with vendors and subcontractors.
- Maintain an organized database of contractors & sub contractors.
- In-depth knowledge of turnkey fit-out project contracts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
- PG/Diploma in Contract Management, Construction Law, or Commercial Management (preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience in the interior fit-out/design & build industry.
- Exposure to high-end corporate, commercial, or retail interior projects is an added advantage.
