Contract Support Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive, business-minded, and detail-oriented Contract Support Coordinator to join our legal team at a dynamic technology company. In this role, you will be a legal partner for negotiating and managing a broad portfolio of software and technology agreements, working closely with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Product teams to drive deals forward while managing risk. The role requires someone experienced and with strong legal judgment with a practical, business-enabling mindset.

What will you do?

Contract Lifecycle Admin

  • Initiating and routing contracts through the approval/signature workflow
  • Tracking contract status and following up on outstanding items to keep things moving
  • Managing the contract repository — uploading, filing, tagging, and organizing executed agreements in the CLM system
  • Executing countersignature via DocuSign/eSignature requests

Team & Process Support

  • Fielding incoming contract requests from internal stakeholders and triaging to the right attorney or contract manager
  • Maintaining intake queues, request trackers, and status dashboards
  • Preparing standard/template agreements for attorney review (pulling the right template, populating basic fields)
  • Coordinating internal reviews and approvals across business units
  • Scheduling and organizing meetings, calls, and negotiations support
  • Provide level 1 support on legal case requests from the Sales, Customer Success, Partner and Procurement teams and escalate legal cases to the commercial lawyers as needed

Data & Reporting

  • Maintaining contracts repository
  • Support the maintenance of the contracting playbook, clause library, and templates
  • Managing correspondence and communications related to contracts
  • Supporting audits and compliance reviews by pulling contracts and documentation
  • Onboarding new team members to contracting processes and too

Qualifications

Required Experience & Education

  • 5+ years of experience in a legal department, law firm, or contracts-heavy environment
  • Hands-on experience with a CLM tool (LinkSquares, Ironclad, Conga, Agiloft, etc.)
  • Experience supporting attorneys or contract managers directly
  • Familiarity with eSignature platforms (DocuSign, Adobe Sign)
  • Exposure to Salesforce or similar CRM for order/contract intake

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in a SaaS or tech company legal department
  • Exposure to contract metadata, tagging, or data hygiene work
  • Familiarity with legal ops concepts (intake, triage, cycle time, playbooks)
  • Experience supporting a countersignature or signature authority process
  • Prior work in a high-volume, fast-paced contracting environment
