About the Company
We’re supporting a major offshore contractor in the search for an experienced Senior Contracts Specialist to lead both pre- and post-award contract management across complex offshore projects.
About the Role
This role sits at the centre of commercial risk, requiring strong exposure to EPC environments, offshore clients, and vessel chartering frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Lead tender-stage contract reviews, risk identification, and negotiation strategy
- Manage post-award contract administration (change orders, claims, compliance)
- Draft and negotiate subcontracts and flow-down terms
- Handle charter party agreements (BIMCO-based) from both owner and charterer perspectives
- Support JV / consortium agreements and key legal documentation
- Maintain full contractual governance across project lifecycle
Qualifications
- 15–20+ years in contracts/commercial roles within offshore EPC / marine / O&G
- Strong experience with major operators (e.g. NOCs / large offshore clients)
- Proven track record in claims, variations, and complex negotiations
- Deep understanding of BIMCO / charter party frameworks
- Background in Engineering, Law, or Quantity Surveying preferred
