Role : SAP ABAP S/4HANA (2022/2023) Consultant (Fiori/CDS)
Location : Goregaon (East), Mumbai
Duration 6+ Months Contract to Hire
An SAP S/4HANA 2023 Developer designs, codes, and extends SAP solutions using modern tools like ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), Core Data Services (CDS) views, and Fiori/UI5. Key responsibilities include creating custom enhancements, optimizing performance on HANA, integrating systems via OData/APIs, and utilizing Eclipse-based ADT.
Key Responsibilities
• Development & Extension: Build custom solutions and enhance standard SAP S/4HANA 2023 functionality using ABAP OO, CDS Views, and RAP.
• Fiori & UI5: Develop or extend user interfaces using Fiori apps.
• Integration: Create and consume OData services, APIs, and utilize IDocs/BAPIs for system integration.
• Performance Optimization: Use AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) and SQL traces to tune performance for the HANA database.
• Modernization: Perform code remediation (SPAU/SPDD) and transition to clean core standards using Eclipse-based ADT.
• Collaboration: Work with functional teams (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP) to map business requirements to technical specs.
Required Technical Skills
• Core Development: Minimum 3-5+ years in SAP ABAP, including Modern ABAP syntax.
• S/4HANA Specialization: Proven experience with S/4HANA (preferably 2022/2023).
• Advanced Technologies: Proficiency in CDS Views, RAP, and OData v4.
• Tooling: Experience with Eclipse-based ABAP Development Tools (ADT) and Business Application Studio (BAS).
• Extensibility: Knowledge of Key User Extensibility and Pro Developer Extensibility.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills for working with stakeholders.
