Senior C# Engineer – Gen AI Solutions
REMOTE | Contractual role
Experience: 6+ Years
Contract duration: 6 months (extendable)
What We’re Looking For-
C# & .NET Expertise-
-Strong hands-on experience in modern C# (.NET 8–10)
-Deep understanding of async/await and performance optimization (Span<T>, Memory<T>, source generators)
-Experience designing REST/gRPC APIs and SDKs
-Familiarity with Semantic Kernel, ML.NET, and Microsoft AI ecosystem
-Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and message queues
Generative AI & LLM Integration-
-Experience integrating with LLM providers like OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source models such as Llama, Mistral, Qwen
-Strong understanding of prompt engineering, token efficiency & context window management
-Experience with RAG architectures (embeddings, vector search, retrieval optimization)
-Knowledge of AI security: prompt injection prevention, PII masking, output validation
-Experience with AI gateways, fallbacks, and cost optimization strategies
Agent & Orchestration Thinking-
-Experience building agentic systems (tool/function calling, ReAct patterns)
-Memory management in conversational AI (short-term & long-term memory)
-Familiarity with orchestration frameworks like LangChain, Semantic Kernel planners, or AutoGen
-Understanding multi-agent coordination patterns
Key Responsibilities-
-Design and implement C# services integrating LLMs into production systems
-Build prompt libraries with versioning, testing, and benchmarking
-Develop secure AI integration layers with observability and reliability
-Create model abstraction layers for flexible model switching
-Implement memory systems for conversational AI
-Optimize for latency and cost (streaming, caching, model selection)
-Mentor engineers and contribute to AI engineering standards
-Own delivery from design → build → ship → iterate
