Job Description – Contract Engineer

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Contract Engineer to manage contractor sourcing, tendering, negotiations, work orders, contract administration, and contractor performance for real estate construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and shortlist suitable contractors for construction projects.
Manage tendering, quotation comparison, negotiations, and contractor finalization.
Prepare comparison statements and submit recommendations to management.
Issue and manage contractor work orders and ensure ERP/Highrise updates.
Monitor contractor performance, quality, compliance, and adherence to agreed terms.
Handle contractor performance issues, warnings, corrective actions, and termination processes.
Maintain proper documentation of contracts, work orders, communications, and performance reports.
Ensure contracts comply with applicable legal, statutory, and company requirements.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in contract administration/procurement/construction.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, tendering, negotiation, and contractor management.
Experience in real estate/construction projects preferred.
Hands-on knowledge of ERP Highrise or Farvision is preferred.
Good analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and contract documentation.
