Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Continental Commis I for a full-time, on-site position at our New Delhi property. In this role, you will assist in preparing high-quality continental cuisine, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, cooking, maintaining cleanliness in the workstation, collaborating with the culinary team, and ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes. A passion for culinary excellence and attention to detail will be essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Food Preparation and Cooking with strong Culinary Skills
- Thorough understanding of Hygiene standards and best practices in kitchen environments
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring a smooth workflow
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions, coupled with a commitment to maintaining quality in dishes
- Relevant experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in continental cuisine
- A formal culinary diploma or equivalent certification is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to operational needs
- Positive attitude, teamwork, and a commitment to upholding Orion Hotels' standards
