Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Conti Commi I/II/III at Cafe, located in Panaji. The Conti Chef will be responsible for preparing and presenting continental dishes in accordance with the menu. The day-to-day tasks include ensuring food quality standards, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, and assisting in menu planning and food costing. The role also involves supervising kitchen staff, managing food inventory, and ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Experience in Continental cuisine techniques, preparation, and presentation standards
- Knowledge of kitchen management, including inventory control and food safety practices
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to demands as required
- Work experience in a similar role or hospitality environment is an advantage
