About the role
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development, customization, and ongoing maintenance of HubSpot CMS websites and landing pages.
Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure seamless user experiences and integrations.
Build responsive, SEO-friendly, and high-performance HubSpot CMS templates, themes, and modules.
Implement complex HubSpot CMS workflows, integrations with other systems (e.g., CRM, analytics, third-party applications), and ensure smooth data flow.
Manage the integration of HubSpot CMS with other marketing tools, ensuring optimal functionality and usability.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve any technical issues related to the HubSpot CMS platform.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in web development, particularly within the HubSpot ecosystem.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times, high uptime, and a consistent user experience across devices.
Create and maintain thorough technical documentation, ensuring that development work is well-documented and can be easily managed by the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on HubSpot CMS development.
Advanced proficiency with HubSpot CMS, HubL, HubSpot APIs, and HubSpot integrations.
Strong experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development frameworks.
Familiarity with Git for version control and deployment processes.
Experience with responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization techniques.
Solid understanding of SEO principles and how they relate to web development.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other analytics tools for tracking and reporting.
Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to stakeholders.
Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
Nice-to-Have Skills
HubSpot certifications (e.g., HubSpot CMS Developer Certification).
Knowledge of other programming languages or frameworks such as PHP, Ruby on Rails, or React.
Experience with cloud-based hosting platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
