About the Role
We write insurance and personal finance content that helps real people make better decisions — not fill pages. If you can take a complex topic like health insurance co-payments and explain it in plain English without losing accuracy, this internship is for you.
What You'll Do
- Research and write articles on insurance, personal finance, and related regulatory topics
- Draw from credible references — IRDAI circulars, SEBI guidelines, news, case studies — woven naturally into your writing
- Write focused and crisp: one clear idea per article, no padding, no jargon
- Use AI writing tools to research, structure, and stress-test your drafts
- Review your own work critically — challenge every sentence for clarity before submitting
- Take editorial feedback and iterate quickly
- Cover any assigned topic — from claim settlement ratios to term insurance myths to SME fire insurance basics
You Should Have
- Degree or ongoing studies in Journalism, English Literature, Law, or related discipline
- Exceptional written English — clear sentences, natural flow
- Genuine curiosity and ability to research an unfamiliar topic and produce a readable article within a day
- Openness to writing on insurance and financial topics — no prior knowledge required
- Interest in AI writing tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Grammarly, etc.)
You Are
- Willing to rewrite until it's right — not just done
- Comfortable with feedback and see critique as improvement
- Self-directed — you work from a brief without hand-holding
