About the Role
We are seeking a versatile, politically aware, and proactive Content Writer & Project Manager to work closely with a political leader — shaping the leader's public voice through compelling written content while driving the execution of strategic, communication, and public engagement initiatives. This individual will serve as both the leader's storyteller and a key point of coordination between the leader, internal teams, external stakeholders, and the public, ensuring seamless project execution while maintaining a strong and consistent public image.
Key Responsibilities
• Write, edit, and proofread speeches, press releases, public statements, and official communications for the political leader.
• Create engaging, on-brand content for social media, campaign collateral, and public outreach materials.
• Develop articles, newsletters, and website content that reflect the leader's vision and strengthen public engagement.
• Act as the primary liaison between the political leader, team members, agencies, stakeholders, and the public.
• Manage and coordinate day-to-day operations, projects, campaigns, and constituency-related initiatives.
• Lead and supervise cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of tasks and deliverables.
• Represent the political leader professionally in meetings, events, and stakeholder interactions whenever required.
• Develop a strong understanding of political dynamics, public sentiment, and constituency concerns to inform both messaging and strategic inputs.
• Coordinate closely with the marketing, design, PR, and social media teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand positioning.
• Assist in planning and executing political campaigns, public outreach programs, events, and community engagement activities.
• Monitor political developments, public feedback, and emerging issues, translating them into timely content and actionable recommendations.
• Build and maintain relationships with media representatives, local leaders, community organizations, and government officials.
• Ensure confidentiality, professionalism, and alignment with the leader's vision, tone, and objectives across all written and coordinated work.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Political Science, Public Administration, Management, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in content writing, project management, political consulting, public affairs, or stakeholder management.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi, with the ability to adapt tone and voice for different platforms and audiences.
• Strong understanding of politics, governance, public relations, and public image management.
• Proven leadership, team management, and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, research, and execution capabilities.
• A portfolio of writing samples (speeches, articles, social media, or campaign content) is preferred.
Travel Requirement
• Travel between Pune and Solapur is mandatory.
• Flexibility to travel at short notice for meetings, events, and constituency engagements.
