We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Content Writer Intern to support our content marketing and communication initiatives. The intern will be responsible for creating engaging, informative, and SEO-friendly content across digital platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and marketing materials. This role is ideal for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in content creation, digital marketing, and brand communication.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Research industry-related topics and generate content ideas.
- Write clear, concise, and engaging content for blogs, articles, website pages, and newsletters.
- Create social media captions, posts, and promotional content.
- Assist in drafting marketing collateral, brochures, and presentations.
Content Research & SEO
- Conduct keyword research to support SEO initiatives.
- Optimize content for search engines while maintaining readability.
- Analyze competitor content and identify content opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Editing & Proofreading
- Review and edit content for grammar, clarity, tone, and accuracy.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging across all platforms.
- Assist in content formatting and publishing.
Social Media & Digital Marketing Support
- Support content planning and content calendar management.
- Collaborate with the design and marketing teams for campaign execution.
- Monitor content performance and suggest improvements.
Required Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent grammar, vocabulary, and proofreading abilities.
- Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing.
- Creative thinking and storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in blogging, content writing, social media management, or college publications is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of tools such as Canva, WordPress, ChatGPT, Grammarly, or SEO tools is preferred.
