Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Content Writer Intern to join our content and marketing team.
This internship is designed for individuals who want to build strong foundations in digital content, SEO writing, and structured communication. You will work closely with our content, SEO, and design teams to learn how strategic content is planned, created, and optimised for real business outcomes.
The ideal candidate is curious, organised, and eager to learn how content contributes to brand growth and digital visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development
- Assist in writing website content, blogs, and short-form marketing content
- Support the team in developing SEO-friendly blog articles and website pages
- Draft basic social media captions aligned with campaign themes
Research & Content Planning
- Conduct topic research to support blog and website content
- Assist in basic keyword research and competitor content analysis
- Help organise ideas and outlines for upcoming content pieces
Editing & Quality Control
- Review and proofread content for grammar, clarity, and consistency
- Support the team in maintaining brand tone and style guidelines
- Ensure content is properly structured before publishing
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the content, SEO, and design teams on ongoing projects.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and content planning discussions.
- Incorporate feedback and revise content when required.
What We're Looking For
- Strong written English: Ability to communicate ideas clearly and simply
- Curiosity and willingness to learn: Interest in digital content and marketing
- Basic research skills: Ability to gather information and organise ideas logically
- Attention to detail: Ensures content is reviewed carefully before submission
- Collaborative mindset: Comfortable working with multiple teams and receiving feedback
- Interest in SEO and digital marketing
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of content writing or blogging.
- Familiarity with digital platforms and online research.
- Portfolio, writing samples, or personal blog preferred but not mandatory.
