About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced English Content Writer with a strong background in journalism and political communication. The ideal candidate should have exceptional command over English writing, the ability to craft impactful narratives, and experience creating content related to public affairs, governance, or political campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality English content for political communication, including speeches, opinion pieces, press materials, social media content, and campaign messaging.
- Research political topics, public policies, and current affairs to create accurate and compelling content.
- Collaborate with internal teams to shape messaging strategies aligned with campaign or client objectives.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and grammatical accuracy.
- Monitor news cycles and emerging political trends to produce timely and relevant content.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict timelines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in content writing, journalism, editorial roles, or political communications.
- Strong background in English journalism or political content writing preferred.
- Exceptional command of written English, grammar, and storytelling.
- Ability to simplify complex political or policy-related information into clear messaging.
- Experience working with political clients, public affairs, media houses, or campaign teams is an advantage.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
Preferred Background:
- Experience with reputed media houses, political consultancies, or public affairs agencies.
- Familiarity with political landscapes, governance topics, and public policy.
